1918, while bringing up supplies by trucks to Engineers. Discharged
at Camp Dodge, May 23, 1919.

Casual Officer. Assigned to Brest in charge of Subsistance Dept.
June 25, 1918 ordered to 126th Inf., 32nd Div., stationed in
Alsace Sector. July 10th, sent to Chateau Thierry and Fismes.
Later in action at Soissons, Argonne, Oines Le Val. Was transferred
to 1st Army as Claims Officer between French and American governments.
Discharged May 15, 1919 at Plattsburgh, N. Y.

- Entered the Naval Service at
Omaha, Neb., two days after war was declared. Was in Navy 12
years before the war. Was stationed at many places in the Pacific
at the Philippines, Samoa, Japan and Hawaii. From Omaha was vent
to Norfolk, Va. Assigned to Jr Grade Pay Corps Master U. S. N.
R. C. Promoted September, 1918 to Junior Lieutenant.

to Wagoner, December 19, 1918. Discharged at Camp Dodge, June
11, 1919.

- Entered service September 18,
1917; was sent to Camp Funston, Kan. Assigned to Co K, 355th
Reg. Inf., 89th Div. Promoted to Corporal, November 11, 1917.
Went overseas June 4, 1918. Was in the St. Mihiel Salient and
was wounded there September 13th by piece of high explosive.
Was in Base Hospital No 114 at Bordeaux. Discharged at Camp Dodge,
April 11, 1919.

- Son of the late J. H. Campbell,
Tekamah, Neb.
- Entered service August 27, 1917
at Prisidio, Calif. He was commissioned 1st Lieut as he had been
in the regualr army for several years. He was sent to Camp Fremont,
Calif., and assigned to the 8th Reg. Inf. Later to Camp Dix,
N. J. Went overseas October 28, 1918. Discharged July 10, 1919.

- Private R. N. Ashley (13)
- Son of J. G. Ashley, Decatur,
Neb.
- He offered his ervices as soon
as war was declared but was rejected at the recruiting office
on account of faulty vision. Later the war department issued
a call for defectives for certain minor deficiencies. Private
Ashley responded to this call and was accepted for duty as a
trusty at the United Explosive Plant at Nitre, West Virginia.Virginia.

- Entered the Radio branch of the
service at Omaha, March 27, 1918. Transferred to Cloyne Field
at Newport News, Va. Assigned to U. S. Marines and sent to Radio
School at Cloyne. Later the flu epidemic disorganized the company
and he was sent to Radio School at Lincoln, Neb. Release from
service December 20, 1918.

offensives. Wounded October 13, 1918 in Argonne-Meuse drive.
Discharged at Camp Dodge April 19, 1919.

- Entered service June, 1917 at
Omaha and went to the Great Lakes Naval Training Camp. Transferred
to Cape May, N. J., then to Philadelphia, Pa., and board the
transport Orizaba, which convoyed the troops overseas making
eleven trips. Discharged at Great Lakes, May 30, 1919.

- Entered
service at Tekamah, Neb. June 28, 1918 and was sent to Camp Funston,
Kan. Was assigned to the 164th Depot Brigade. Later was transferred
to the 28th Field Artillery. Had the flu and was sent to Hospital.
Discharged at Camp Funston, Kan., January 24, 1919.
