Anna ZIMMER

Anna Zimmer, 81, Solway, died Friday, Septmber 16 at Clearwater Memorial Hospital in Bagley. Funeral services were held Monday at Solway Lutheran Church with Rev. Roger Rotvold officiating. Burial was made at Moose Creek Cemetery in rural Shevlin. She was born June 27, 1902 at Neligh, Nebraska. She is a graduate of Neligh High School and a graduate of a normal school. She taught school for five years in Nebraska. She married Christian Zimmer December 15, 1926 at Neligh. The couple moved in 1930 to Fosston and to Solway in 1943. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Dolores (Mrs. Lyle) Fredenberg of Solway, Selma (Mrs. Anton) Jacobson of Bemidji; three grandchildren, Pamela Heath, Wilton, Cindy Molitor, Solway, Dennis Fredenberg, Bemidji; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Agatha Berry of Neligh, Marie Carstensen of Eugene, Oregon; a brother, Lorenz Carstensen of San Jose, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son and three brothers.
