IDA MAY RALPH WILLIAMS

Abridged: Ida May RALPH was born at Platteville, WI, November 27, 1876, and departed this life April 15, 1937. She was the daughter of James and Lovinia RALPH. After the death of her parents, she came to Nebraska making her home in the vicinity of Elgin. In 1901 she was united in marriage to Floyd H WHITMORE of Cedar Creek. Three children came to bless this home, Clifford, Mabel and Carol. In March 1917, her husband died at Basin, WY. Mrs WHITMORE returned to Wisconsin and in 1928 was married to L. F. WILLIAMS of Oakdale, Nebraska. Mrs WILLIAMS had been in ill health for some time. Surviving are her husband, Lewis F WILLIAMS, one son, Clifford WHITMORE of Houston, TX, two daughters, Mabel WHITMORE of Philip, South Dakota, and Carol WHITMORE of Houston, TX, one grandson, Clifford WHITMORE Jr of Houston, one brother, James RALPH of Minneapolis, one sister, Mrs Etta WILLIS of Paola, KS, three stepchildren, other relatives and great company of friends. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church here Saturday, April 17 and burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery.

MYRON L WILLIAMS

Abridged: Myron L WILLIAMS was born in Casnovia, Michigan, May 23, 1871 and died December 22, 1917. In 1892 he came to Antelope County and for two seasons worked as a farm hand. During the drought year, 1894, he went to North Bend and for three years following worked in a nursery. Returning to Antelope County, in partnership with his brother, Warren, he purchased the farm on Cedar Creek, which he owned at the time of his death. He was honorable in all his dealings with his fellows and generous to a fault. He joined the Odd Fellows on January 3, 1905 and was an earnest worker in the order, faithful to its teachings. Her he will be greatly missed. He is survived by three brothers and one sister, LEWIS WILLIAMS of Oakdale, Warren A WILLIAMS of Goldendale, WA, William WILLIAMS, address unknown, and Mrs Addie HALE of Custer, WA. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Monday afternoon and interment was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.

RALPH CLINTON WILLIAMS

Ralph Clinton WILLIAMS, son of Lewis F. WILLIAMS and Mary Electra WILLIAMS of Oakdale, Nebraska, was born at Elgin, Nebraska, July 18, 1897, and departed this life at Shreveport, Louisiana, May 21, 1942, aged forty-four years, ten months and three days. Ralph was converted February 25, 1912, and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at Oakdale. To this Church he was always faithful. He graduated from the Oakdale high school in 1917 and later attended Nebraska Wesleyan University two and one half years. He spent most of his life near Oakdale with the exception of one year in Wyoming living with his parents on a homestead. The deceased is survived by his father, one sister, Mrs. Alice ALLEN of Berkeley, California, and one niece, Asta Vesta HOV. His mother, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. E. DAUGHETEE in the Methodist church here Friday afternoon. Interment was made in the Oakdale cemetery.

Warren A WILLIAMS

Abridged: Funeral services were held Wednesday for Warren Williams at the Methodist Church here. Interment was made in the Oakdale Cemetery. Warren A Williams, son of Mr and Mrs George Williams, was born January 14, 1876 in Casnova, Muskegon County, Michigan and departed life May 5, 1954 at the Plantation Home in Elgin, Nebraska. He came to Nebraska with his parents and brothers when he was a small child. His mother died when he was but a small boy. His father was unable to care for the four small boys so the children were scattered, but Warren remained with his father the longest. He never married. Surviving are two brothers, L. F. (Lew) of Houston, TX, and William, whose address is unknown, and one half-sister, Mrs Addie Hale of Custer, WA. His mother, father and brother, Myron, preceded him in death.
