Herman H. VOGT
Herman H. VOGT passed away at 4:30 Monday morning of a heart attack at the home of his daughter, Mrs Clarence Fleharty, where he had made his home for the past several years. He had been in ill health for the past year. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Friedens Evangelical and Reformed church at Tilden, with burial in the IOOF cemetery there. Mr. Vogt was born January 25, 1870, at Buss Creek, Missouri, and died October 10, 1938, aged sixty-eight years, seven months and fifteen days. He was united in marriage with Miss Caroline Louise KRAMME on October 30, 1892, at Detmold, Mo. This union was blessed with eight children, all but two daughters, Rose VOGT, who died in the fall of 1917, and Mrs. Ella ROHLFING, who died on March 30, 1937. His wife died March 27, 1936 He and his family made their home in Missouri until 1914 when they came to Tilden, living there since that time. Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Frances LUBKEN of Neligh, Mrs. Margaret SAXTON of Tilden and Mrs Edna FLEHARTY of Oakdale and three sons, Robert VOGT of Neligh and Harry VOGT and Robert VOGT of Tilden, twelve grandchildren, one sister and two brothers.

ROSA OPPLIGER VOGT
Mrs Rosa VOGT passed away at the home of her parents east of Oakdale, Thursday night, May 23, 1935. She had been in poor health for a couple of years. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mildred; her parents, Mr and Mrs Fred OPPLIGER and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at Tilden Sunday with burial in the Oakdale Cemetery.
