Julia I. NIES-TRUBE

Funeral services for Mrs Julia Trube were held at the M. E. church in Plainview Sunday. Mrs. Trube was the last surviving child of Mr. and Mrs. John Nies, pioneer of Antelope county and Oakdale resident. Julia I. NIES was born February 10, 1865 near Buffalo, NY., and died June 1, 1938 at her home in Plainview. She came to Nebraska with her parents in 1867, first living in Dakota county before moving to Antelope county. She married Edward TRUBE in December 1884 and moved to Plainview in 1909 after the death of her husband. Among those present at the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs Levi WILSON, Mrs Paul HUNTER and Al BICKFORD all of Oakdale; Mrs. Mabel NIES of Neligh.
