RAYMOND LEROY THEROES
Funeral services for Raymond LeRoy THEROES, 63, of Oakdale, were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 31 at the Hoepfinger-Beyer Funeral Home in Neligh with Rev. Timothy J BLACKMAN officiating. Rev. BLACKMAN also served as vocalist, accompanied by Mrs Arthur BUSHARDT, pianist. Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery with Kenneth CARR, Ronald CARR, John BRANZ, Gene KINNAN, Kyle GUGGENMOS and Ivan KINNAN serving as pallbearers. Military services were conducted by the Tilden legion post. Raymond LeRoy THEROES, also known as Raymond L. OLDEN, was born November 4, 1919 at Cherokee, Iowa and died March 27, 1983 at Grand Island. He served in the U. S. Air Corps in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during World War II. His occupation was that of a painter and musician. He had previously lived in Sioux City, Iowa and Omaha and Norfolk. Survivors include his children, Charlene and Bobby of Norfolk, two sisters in the Sioux City area and other relatives.
