Florence Della (CROSIER) STANSBURY

Abridged: Rites for Mrs Della Stansbury were held last Thursday afternoon at the Hoepfinger Home for Funerals. Interment was made in the Oakdale Cemetery. Florence Della Crosier, daughter of Mr and Mrs William Crosier, was born at Worthington, Delaware County, Iowa, December 14, 1869. The family moved to Nebraska when she was a small child, locating a few miles south and east of Oakdale. Here she grew to young womanhood and was married in 1888 to William Kinney of Petersburg. To this union one son, Howard was born. In later life she again was married to Chester Stansbury at Oklahoma City, OK. He passed away several years later and she returned to Oakdale to spend her declining years. She spent most of her remaining years as a bed patient at the Plantation Home in Elgin where she departed this life on July 6, 1955. She leaves to mourn her passing, an elderly sister, Miss Effie Crosier of Oakdale, her son, Howard Kinney of Cheyenne, WY, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
