ADDIE WARREN PUTNEY

Abridged: Addie WARREN PUTNEY was born in Ogdensburg, New York, January 21, 1867 and died in Oakdale, Nebraska August 26, 1899. The goodbye services were held in the Methodist Episcopal Church Sunday afternoon, conducted by her pastor, Rev. D MARQUETTE, assisted by Rev. SHARPLES, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Addie WARREN and Marvin B. PUTNEY were married here, April 14, 1886 and here she has since lived. Her children were Emma, Warren and Blanche. Mrs PUTNEY United with Methodist Church in 1895. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery.

ROSINA BATES PUTNEY

Rosina BATES PUTNEY was born October 27, 1828 at Stockton, New York and died at the family residence in Nebraska on February 18, 1912. She was the daughter of Roswell and Martha McNott BATES and one of a family of 14. She married William W. PUTNEY on August 16, 1854. To them were born nine children, five of who remain. Two died in infancy, Wayland died at Strawberry Point, Iowa, June 27, 1870 and Emma died at home in October 22, 1882. In 1870, PUTNEY came to Antelope County. She leaves her husband, five children, Forest L of Lincoln, Florence D, wife of S. D. THORNTON of Neligh, Marvin B of Cleveland, Ohio, Nellie of Neligh, and Minnie, wife of D. R. MOON of Reese, Nebraska, a brother, Ansel BATES of Washington, Kansas, 22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was laid to rest in the Oakdale Cemetery beside her daughter, Emma.

William W. PUTNEY

Abridged: William W. PUTNEY, died at his home, Thursday, December 19, 1912. He came to Antelope County in December 1870 and lived here his entire life. He was born in Villanova Township in New York. He married Rosina BATES at Glenhavern, Wisconsin. The children are: Forrest L. PUTNEY of Tilden, Florence, wife of S. D. THORNTON, Marvin B of Cleveland, Ohio, Miss Nettie of Neligh, and Mrs Minnie MOON of Ainsworth. The funeral services will be conducted at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Oakdale on Sunday, the sermon by Rev. LEIDY. Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery.
