ALFRED RAY POLLOCK
Funeral services for Alfred Ray POLLOCK, 82, of Tilden, formerly of Neligh, were held a 2 p.m. Monday, December 10 at the Oakdale United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard ODGERS officiating. Kay CROSIER served as pianist. The congregation sang "Amazing Grace" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were POLLOCK’S grandsons, Jerry POLLOCK, Todd POLLOCK, Jim CARR, Dick CARR, Steve BETTENDORF, Rollie BETTENDORF, Roger HASKIN, Jim DANIELS, Roger COOK, and Aaron MORRISON. Alfred Ray POLLOCK, son of John and Lucy GRIFFITH POLLOCK, was born March 3, 1902, at Steffenville, Missouri and died December 7, 1984 at Heritage Village in Tilden. POLLOCK received his education in Missouri. On January 17, 1924, he moved to Brunswick to make his home with his sister and family, Mr and Mrs Ed ASHFORM. On June 1, 1929, he married Lila DALTON at Neligh. For 20 years, POLLOCK worked at the Melick Lumber Yard. He worked at the Neligh grain elevator for three years and at the Oakdale grain elevator for 22 years. Mrs POLLOCK died in April 1964. On November 7, 1967, POLLOCK married Stella SCHROEDER at Neligh. This couple made their home at pioneer homes in Neligh. The second Mrs POLLOCK died in March 1982 and POLLOCK moved to Heritage Village of Tilden on Jun 17, 1982. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, three granddaughters, and two sisters, Ella ASHFORD and Gertrude FRANK. Survivors include tow sons, Don and LaVern, both of Oakdale; two daughters, Mrs Dewey (Ruth) CARR, and Mrs Noel (Lois) BETTENDORF, both of Elgin, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, five sisters, Mary STEFAN of Panhandle, Texas, Lula ASHFORD of Denver, Colorado, Ethel NEWBERRY of Parson, Illinois, Ann SCOTT of Steffenville, Missouri, and two brothers, Lester of Quincy, Illinois and Arthur of Independence, Missouri.

LILA HARRIET DALTON POLLOCK
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Oakdale Methodist Church for Mrs Lila POLLOCK with the Rev. Willis R TAPLIN officiating. Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery with Chet OLIN, Telfer POLLARD, Joe HOYDA, Merle WAGNER, Robert AUGHE and Ivan KINNAN serving as pallbearers. Lila Harriet DALTON POLLOCK, daughter of Ira Samuel and Elsie HAMILTON DALTON, was born January 15, 1909 at Orchard and died April 3, 1964 at the Tilden Community Hospital at the age of 55 years, 2 months, and 19 days. Mrs POLLOCK was a graduate of the Neligh High School, a past noble grand of Rebecca Lodge and a member of the Oakdale Methodist Church. On June 1, 1929 she was married to Ray POLLOCK and to this union four children were born. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs Lois BETTENDORF of Norwalk, California, and Mrs Dewey CARR of Elgin, two sons, Donald and LaVerne of Oakdale, her mother, Mrs Elsie HAINES of Neligh, two sisters, Mrs Una WALTERS of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mrs Irene MARTIN of Redwood, California, two brothers, Paul DALTON of Naperville, Illinois and Elmer DALTON of Peoria, Illinois, and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and an infant brother.

PAMELA RAE POLLOCK
Funeral services for Pamela Rae POLLOCK were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12 at the United Methodist Church in Oakdale with the Rev. Connie J BUEHLER officiating. Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery and serving as pallbearers were Francis SONNENFELT, Merle WAGNER, Irvie SCHWARTING and Jim LYONS. Pamela Rae POLLOCK was born February 15, 1961 at the Tilden Community Hospital to LaVerne and Sharon POLLOCK and died at the United Methodist Hospital in Omaha March 9, 1970at the age of 9 years and 22 days. She spent her entire life in Oakdale where she attended the United Methodist Church and Sunday School, and was a third grade student in the Oakdale School. Survivors include her parents, Mr and Mrs LaVerne POLLOCK, one brother, Todd, grandparents, Mr and Mrs Ralph KINNAN and Ralph POLLOCK, and great grandmothers, Mrs Jim KINNAN, Mrs Elva FLEHARTY, and Mrs Elsie HAINES. She was preceded in death by twin sisters.
