VANCE JOHN PLETCHER

Abridged: The body of Vance PLETCHER who passed away Sunday at Chicago was brought to Oakdale for burial Tuesday night. Vance John PLETCHER was born at Oakdale July 13, 1910 and passed away on April 8, 1934. At the age of seven he moved with his parents to Omaha and from there to Chicago. He spent a great deal of time here with his aunt and uncle, Mr and Mrs George HUNTER. He leaves many friends here to mourn his passing. He is survived by his mother, Mrs Jack FREY, his sister, Mrs Ray NORENE and his step-father, Jack FREY, all of Chicago, also a brother, Wayne PLETCHER of Milwaukee. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.
