ELOF PERSSON
Elof PERSSON, 77, Oakdale, died Monday afternoon, May 16, 1960, at 1:30 p.m. at the Tilden hospital. Mr PERSSON was born June 2, 1882 in Skane, Sweden. He came to the United States in March of 1900 and has lived in and near Oakdale since 1954. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Maude PERSSON, 2 sons, Alfred and Dale of Casper, Wyoming, three brothers, Nels of Oakdale, Carl of Gillette, Wyoming, and Earnest of Billings, Montana, four sisters, Mrs Dave BUTTS, Maitland, Missouri, Mrs Fred KUENZLI, Duncan,Mrs John NELSON, Oakdale, and Miss Beata PERSSON of Sweden. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers who died in infancy. Funeral services are set for Thursday afternoon at the Oakdale Methodist Chuch with the Rev. I. Lester HART officiating.

MAUDE BRUGH PERSSON
Funeral services for Mrs Elof PERSSON of Casper, Wyoming, formerly of Oakdale, were held Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at the Hoepfinger Home for Funerals at Neligh. The Rev. Dillon HESS, pastor of the United Methodist Church at Neligh, officiated at the service and burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Ralph KINNAN, Louis KINNAN, Donald OFE, Fred LINNAUS, Howard HAILE, and Leonard OBERSHAW. Maude PERSSON was born December 24, 1878 on a farm near Fremont to Jacob A and Laura E GRUGH and died Thursday, March 13, 1969 at Valley Manor at Casper. When a small child she moved with her family to a homestead at Idalia, Colorado and later to Rockford. In 1908 she went with a brother to a homestead at Alimstead, New Mexico, where she met Elof PERSSON. They were married at Beatrice December 19, 1919 and soon moved to the Star community near Oakdale. They were the parents of two sons, Alfred Hugo and Victor Dale, both of Casper. Survivors include her two sons and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died May 16, 1960.
