Obituary
John PALMATEER was born in Albany County, N. Y. March 10, 1831. He was twice married. The issue of the first was one child, a daughter, now living in N. Y. He was married to the present Mrs PALMATEER in 1855. The fruit of their union being two children one of who died in infancy. In 1854 he joined the Dutch Reformed Church at East Greenbush, Rensselaer County, N. Y. to which place his family had recently removed. In 1880 he moved west to Willowdale, Antelope County, Nebraska. Since then his residence has been by turns at Willowdale and Oakdale. He has always been a consistent member and faithful worker in the church, and the churches of his choice have shown their appreciation of his sincerity and efficiency by electing him repeatedly as their office bearer. Early in the morning of February 19, 1894, he passed away, firm in the belief in his long cherished faith. The funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. V. F. PARTCH officiating and the remains were interred in the Oakdale Cemetery. Notwithstanding the cold weather, there was a large number out to show their respect for the deceased and the bereaved.

Obituary
MRS PALMATEER
The burial of Mrs PALMATEER, who died December 2, 1903, at the home of her son, took place Wednesday in the Oakdale Cemetery, the remains having been brought here by train for interment. Mrs PALMATEER was a former resident and well known here. Her husband died a number of years ago.
