Obituary-The Oakdale Sentinel-June 13, 1929

OLIVER K OLIVERSON

Oliver K OLIVERSON was born in Norway July 3, 1856 and came to Minnesota with his parents in the year 1871. He was the oldest of four children, three sons and a daughter. The two brothers, Knute of Riverside, CA and Henry of Plainview survive him. Mr OLIVERSON came to Nebraska 51 years ago and settled on a farm south of Oakdale. He was married to Mary E KESLING on July 26, 1891. To them was born no children, but they reared Earl KESLING, now of Portland, OR, son of Mrs OLIVERSON’s brother. Mr and Mrs OLIVERSON moved from the farm to Oakdale about 10 years ago, where they have since lived. Besides his two brothers, he leaves to mourn his departure his wife, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon in the Methodist Church and interment will be made in the Oakdale Cemetery. Mr OLIVERSON died on June 9, 1929.
