Funeral services for Dixie ICKLER MCMAHON, 68 of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc., were held at 10:30 a.m. Wed., July 30, 1986 at Hoepflinger, Beyer Funeral Home in Neligh, with Rev. Bryce HECHT officiating. Burial was in the Brunswick Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jim and Sam SCHWAGER, Alan KNAP, Ted KALLHOFF, Lynn LARSEN, and Gary VESLEY, nephews of Dixie.
Dixie MCMAHON, daughter of Fred and Velva (BUTTERFIELD) ICKLER was born March 11, 1918 in Knox County and died July 27th in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc, following a long illness.
On April 21, 1941 Dixie married Richard MCMAHON. Mrs. MCMAHON lived in Wisc. for 32 years. She lived in Rudloph, Wisconsin, until her husbands death in June 1983. At the time of her death she was a resident of a nursing home in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc.
Survivors include two son's Richard Jr. and Robin: four daughters, Darlene TRICKLE, Joy ZIEMANN, and Ginger JEFFREY, all of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc., and Linda Pospisial of Black River Falls, Wisc.; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Gerald and Dale ICKLER of Verdigre, Nebr.; eight sisters, Marcelene and Violet SCHWAGER of Orchard, Nebr.; Donna KNAPP of Clearwater, Ione LUBER, Deloris WALTON and Dorothy PARK of O'Neill, Nebr., Betty KLUSMAN of Mitchell, S.D., and Raedean TROFHOLZ of Anaheim, Calif.; 37 nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one sister, one brother and one niece.

Richard Eugene MCMAHON, Sr. was born December 9, 1922, in Pierce County, Nebraska near Plainview. He married Dixie ICKLER on April 21, 1941, at O'Neill, Nebraska.
Richard farmed in Nebraska until moving to Wisconsin in 1958, where he continued to farm.
He was a former member of the Lions Club at Wisconsin Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Richard Jr. and Robin of Wisconsin Rapids; Four daughters, Joy ZIEMANN of Carpentersville, Ill.; Linda POSPISIEL of Black River Falls, Ginger JEFFREY and Darlene TRICKLE of Wisconsin Rapids. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Gertrude and one brother, Lynn.
