Georgia Lee MATHEWS

Abridged: Funeral services for Georgia Lee Mathews were held in the Methodist Church here Wednesday morning. Her classmates attended the services in a body. Burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery. Georgia Lee Mathews, daughter of Jack and Ana Mathews was born February 27, 1937 at Oakdale, NE and passed away Sunday, October 28, 1951. She died by asphyxiation from a rusted through exhaust pipe of the car in which she was parked in the Oakdale Cemetery. Robert Ganskow of Neligh was also found dead. She is survived by her parents, one sister, Bonnie Jean, grandparents, Mr and Mrs Harry Aronholt of Oakdale, Mr and Mrs Wm. Mathews of Ontario, CA and Mrs Ida Anderson of Norfolk, and many other relatives and friends.
