Dora M. LORENZEN
Funeral services for Dora M. Lorenzen, 89, of Palmer, were held Friday, Febr. 6, at the Congregational Church in Neligh. The Rev. Bryce Hecht officiated.
Burial was at the Laurel Hill Cemetery with arrangements by Hoepfinger-Beyer Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Donald Lambert, Christopher Lambert, Albert Lambert, Greg Peterson, Mark Moraczewski and Steven Hameloth. Dora Mae Clark, daughter of Harvey and Louella (Barnes) Clark, was born November 30, 1906, at Oakdale. She attended school at Oakdale. On December 26, 1925, she married Albert (D.K.) Lorenzen in Neligh. For many years, they farmed between Neligh and Clearwater, then moved into Neligh when they retired. They were members of the Congregational Church in Neligh and belonged to the Weekend Wanderers. When their health began to fail, the couple moved to Palmer to be near their daughter. Mrs. Lorenzen died Thursday, Febr. 1, at the Community Care Center in Palmer, where she had been a resident for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1992, and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Marjorie) Lambert of Palmer and Mrs. Robert (Elinor Kay) Work-Traver of Huntington Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
