GERTIE FORD KESLING

The funeral of Mrs George KESLING who died last Saturday, May 14, 1898, at her home in the Star School area 11 miles south of Oakdale, took place on Monday. The remains were interred in the Oakdale Cemetery. She leaves a husband and three children, one a baby only six weeks old. Her maiden name was Gertie FORD, her former home being Custer County. Her age was 24 years.

JENNIE MAY NORTON KESLING

Jennie May NORTON, was born at Winthrop, Iowa, MARCH 3, 1880 and died at Bartlett, Nebraska, February 25, 1912. She came to Oakdale in 1891. On May 11, 1900 she married George S. KESLING and to them were born three children, Harold, Mary and an infant son. She is survived by her parents, husband, two children and one sister, Mrs E. P. TATGE of Randolph. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the United Brethren Church and interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
