KECK
The six year old son of Mr and Mrs Joseph KECK who had been very sick for a week past died on Wednesday afternoon, July 17, 1895. The funeral took place on Thursday; the services being held at the house. (Oakdale Cemetery)

EARL LEONARD KECK
As the result of burns received from the explosion of gasoline fumes, earl kept died yesterday morning at the hospital in Norfolk. Only meager details of the accident are obtainable. Earl was working as agent for the Standard Oil Co. at Newport and Sunday evening after pumping out a tank car of gasoline he crawled to the top of the car to accretion if the tank was entirely empty. He leaned over the manhole and lowered a lighted lantern. A terrific explosion followed and flames encircled his head and the upper part of his body, inflicting severe burns. He was taken to Norfolk on the early train Monday where he was given attention by the best medical skill. Physicians pronounced his chances of recovery remote, and after intense suffering he passed away. The remains were brought to Oakdale today and after funeral services at the M. E. Church, conducted by rev C. L. MYERS, burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery. Earl Leonard KECK was born at Oakdale Nebraska, February 8, 1897 and all his life, with the exceptin of the past two years, was spent here. On September 17, 1919, he was married to Miss Helen MYERS of Newport. Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary KECK of Oakdale, three sisters, Mrs. Blanche BARNUM, address unknown; Mrs. Agnes MATHEWS and Mrs. Ollie HOTLINE of Neligh; one brother, Clyde, of Oakdale; two half-brothers. George BUCKMASTER of Oakdale, Art BUCKMASTER of Cody; one half-sister, Mrs. Clarissa HERTZ of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Died December 10, 1906, the infant child of Siem KECK of Neligh was buried in the Oakdale Cemetery on Monday. Rev. C. O. TRUMP, conducted the services at the grave.

Mitford KECK
Mitford KECK, 8 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. KECK of Neligh, died last Friday (January 2, 1920) and was buried Sunday (January 4, 1920) in the Oakdale Cemetery. Death followed and operation for appendicitis.

MRS. GEORGE KECK
Died on Friday evening of last week, January 24, 1896, at her home about four miles south of Oakdale, Mrs George KECK. She was over 66 years old and leaves a sorrowing husband and a family of grown up children. She had been failing for a year past. The funeral services were held at the house on Sunday afternoon. MARY ELIZABETH GIER KECK
Mary Elizabeth GIER was born in Iowa January 7, 1858 and died July 5, 1927 at Oakdale, Nebraska in the 69th year of her age. She was married to Andrew BUCKMASTER and to them were born three children, two boys and one girl, all whom survive. Her later marriage was to Joseph KECK in Oakdale and of this union there were born six children, four of whom are still living. There are 25 grandchildren. Sometime during Mrs Keck’s last illness all her children were at her bedside, some of them coming a distance, but could not return in time for burial. Sometime in her earlier life Mrs KECK united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. The funeral services were held in the Methodist Church at Oakdale Thursday afternoon, July 7, conducted by the pastor, Rev. E. L. BARCH. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
