MARY JANE LAWTON KAHLS

Abridged: Mary Jane LAWTON was born in February 1843 in Columbus, Indiana and died in Phoenix, Arizona on March 28, 1905. From there she moved with her parents to southern Illinois. In 1861 she married Henry KAHLS. In 1872 they came to Antelope County. Her parents, Mr and Mrs Thomas LAWTON also came. 14 children were born to this family, 10 of which are living. She leaves a husband, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family moved to Arizona in 1901. The funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church, Rev. LEIDY officiating. She was laid to rest in the Oakdale Cemetery.
