EDITH JONES

Abridged: Miss Edith JONES was born in Northamptonshire, England December 14, 1864 and came to America in April three years later, locating in Broadville, Wisconsin. From there the family moved to Mazomanie, Wisconsin where the parents died and in 1916 the deceased and her sister came to Oakdale in order that she might be near her other sister, the late Mrs L. D. HADLEY. Miss JONES taught school, later taking up dressmaking. She died in a Norfolk Hospital on September 20, 1930. The surviving relatives are three brothers, addresses unknown, and 15 nieces and nephews. Her niece, Mrs S. A. BAKER and family of Tilden being the only relatives present. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Monday, September 22 and interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
