Obituary-
Funeral services were held Friday at Hoepfinger’s Home for Funerals in Neligh for Charles F IHLENFELD of Oakdale with the Rev. Carl PULLMANN, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery with Boise PANNIER, Elmer PEDERSON, Delwin PUEPPKE, Harry KIRCHMANN, Willis LUND and Richard MYERS serving as pallbearers. Charles F IHLENFELD was born in Germany August 28, 1878 and died November 8, 1961 at the Tilden hospital at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 10 days. He came to the United States at the age of four years. He served as a conductor on a Chicago and North Western freight train. In 1938 he was married to Miss Grace SNIDER of Oakdale, and they made their home at Oakdale. Survivors are his wife, two sisters and a number of nieces and nephews. Relatives from Elgin, Neligh, Plainview, Scribner, Ames and Fremont attended the services.

Graveside rites were held Saturday, May 25 at the Oakdale Cemetery for Mrs Charles (Grace) IHLENFELD of Healdsburg, California, formerly of Oakdale. Allan BRIDGES, minister of the Neligh Church of Christ, officiated at the service. Mrs IHLENFELD, 89, died Tuesday, May 21, 1974 in California.
