PAULINE CAROLINE HART
Funeral services for Pauline C. HART of Neligh were held Thursday, April 17 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Oakdale. The Rev. Richard ODGERS officiated at the services with burial in the Oakdale Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bernard LUDEMANN, Albert J BECHTOLD, Carl BECHTOLD, Leo HALLSHOUSE, Earl BROST and Donald VOGT. Pauline Caroline HART, daughter of John and Christina BITTERMAN BECHTOLD, was born November 10, 1902 at Tyndall, South Dakota and died Monday, April 14, 1980 at the Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh. She moved to Boyd County at a very early age and resided near Naper until coming to her present home in Antelope County in 1960. In 1921 she was united in marriage to Norman GRAVES. Mr GRAVES died in 1934. On June 28, 1935 she was united in marriage to Phillip R. HART at Valentine. Survivors include her husband, Phillip; two sons, John GRAVES of O’Neill and Rolland HART of Elgin; one daughter Mrs Delbert (Helen) SHARP of Valentine; two brothers, Emil of Battleground, Washington and Albert of Naper; one sister, Mrs Rose GRAY of Lucerne, California; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, four brothers, two sisters and an infant son.

PHILLIP R. HART
Funeral services for Phillip HART, 74, of Elgin were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 17 at the Oakdale United Methodist Church with Rev. Carroll FRENCH of Elgin officiating. Mrs. Raymond CROSIER was organist. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert BECKTOLD, Carl BECKTLD, Michael WAGNER, Ralph KLEIN, Jeff SCHOLL and Lynn BRUMMETT. Philip R. HART, son of Emies and Esther WALLIS HART, was born September 6, 1914, at Harrick, South Dakota, and died May 14, 1989, at the Tilden Nursing Center in Tilden. The HART family moved to Naper when HART was a small child. He attended school in the Naper community. On June 28, 1935, he married Pauline GRAVES at Valentine. They continued to farm in the Naper area until February, 1960, when they moved to a farm near Elgin. Mrs HART died in 1980. MR HART continued to live on the farm until he became a resident of the Tilden Nursing Center because of failing health. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife and two sisters. Survivors include one son, Roland of Elgin, one brother, George, of Oklahoma; two half brothers, Robert C. HART of Winner, South Dakota and Charles HART; one sister, Florence SHARP of Ainsworth; one half sister, Florence Rose JACKSON of Milbore, South Dakota; and one grandson.
