DAVID H (GEARHART) GARHART
David H. GARHART, formerly a tailor at Oakdale, who has been insane for several years, died last week, December 4, 1898, at the home of his son-in-law in the northeast part of the county. The remains were interred in the Oakdale Cemetery.

ELIZABETH H READER GEARHART
Died at her home in Oakdale, Nebraska on December 1, 1893, after an illness of nine weeks, Mrs Elizabeth H GEARHART. Her maiden name was Elizabeth H. READER. She was born in Ohio in 1832 and was therefore at the time of her death, 61 years old. She was brought up in the religious faith of the Quakers. At the age of 25, she married D. H. GEARHART, with whom she came to Oakdale, 9 years ago, since where they have built two nice homes. She leaves a husband and six grown up children to mourn her loss. All but one who resides in California were present at the funeral which was conducted by Rev. V. F. PARTCH, from the Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon. The remains were interred in the Oakdale Cemetery. The bereaved parties have the sympathy of the entire community.
