ANTHONY G ELIOTT

Abridged: Anthony G. ELIOTT, one of our oldest residents, died quite suddenly at his home in Oakdale last Saturday, November 19, 1898, just before noon. He was 72 years old. Anthony G. ELIOTT was born in Massachusetts near Boston in 1826 and moved when a young man to Nova Scotia. The death of his first wife occurred only a five months after this marriage. Several children were born of his second marriage, three of whom are living. Mrs Charles MARTIN of Oakdale, Mrs Eugene GARLEY of Elgin, and Mrs Ed STOLP. He was married a 3^rdtime on July 13, 1898. The funeral was held Sunday, the services preached by Rev. MARGUETTE at the Methodist Church.
