Obituary-The Oakdale Sentinel-March 27, 1897

MRS J. S. DEWEY

Mrs J. S. DEWEY died on Tuesday morning, March 23, 1897. She had been very sick for a long time and had suffered greatly and hope for her recovery had been given up for some time. She was the wife of our hardware merchant, J. S. DEWEY and they have been residents of Oakdale for about 15 years. She leaves, besides the bereaved husband, a daughter, Mrs Clara IMLAY. The funeral services were held at the home on Wednesday and the remains interred in the Oakale Cemetery.
