ELMER HENRY CHRISTIANSEN

Abridged: Elmer Henry CHRISTIANSEN, son of Mr and Mrs Paul CHRISTIANSEN was born a Tilden, Nebraska, January 20, 1904. In the spring of 1927 he began farming for himself in the Cedar Creek neighborhood. On September 24, 1930 he was united in marriage to Miss Alverda HOPKINS at Pierce, Nebraska. He died of severe burns on May 17, 1931 at the Lutheran Hospital in Norfolk. He leaves his wife, parents, brother, Rudolph of Tilden, four sisters, Anita and Ellen at home, Mrs Carl May, Mrs Lester WILKINSON, all of Elgin, and many other relatives. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church of Oakdale and burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.
