MINNIE KIDDER-CARPENTER
Funeral services for Mrs Minnie CARPENTER, formerly Minnie KIDDER and one-time resident of Oakdale who died in a Norfolk hospital where she had been a patient, were held in the Barnum chapel at Neligh Sunday afternoon. Burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, three sins and three daughters, one of whom is Mrs C. A. PALMER (Lucile KIDDER ) of Sedro Wooley, Washington, who is a former Oakdale resident.

MYRON ELSWORTH CARPENTER
Funeral rites were conducted Saturday morning at the Methodist Church in Oakdale for Myron CARPENTER, 79, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs E R CARPENTER of Chambers, September 10, 1957. The Rev. I Lester HART officiated at the services and burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery. Myron Elsworth was born December 26, 1877 to Myron Dana and Martha CARPENTER near Petersburg. He moved with his parents to a farm south of Oakdale when a small boy and where he grew to manhood. He spent several years on ranches near Valentine. On January 1, 1898 he married Minnie KIDDER of Oakdale and the couple farmed near Neligh for a number of years, later moving to Rushville and then to South Dakota. His wife preceded him in death in 1938 and since then he resided in Oakdale until October 1955 when he moved to Chambers.
