CARL D. BROZEK
Abridged: Funeral services for Carl D. Brozek, 72, of Oakdale will be held at 1pm Thursday, January 13 at the Oakdale Methodist Church with the Rev. Carol James officiating. Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery. Carl D. Brozek, son of Charles and Lelia Mae (Watson) Brozek, was born on November 19, 1927 at Tilden. He graduated in 1945 from Oakdale High School and served with the United States Navy from December 18, 1945 to January 9, 1948. On March 26, 1949 he married Leona M Mock at Omaha. Mr Brozek worked in Omaha as a welder until being employed in the admissions office at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha. He served as the chief administrator, retiring in 1990 to Oakdale. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Oakdale where he served as administrative council of the church and also held various other church offices. Mr Brozek died Sunday, January 9, 2000, at the Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh. Survivors include his wife, a son and his wife, Richard and Naomi Brozek, a daughter and her husband, Linda and Jerry Kavan, two brothers and their wives, Elmer and Grace Brozek and Don and Mary Brozek; a sister and her husband, Joyce and Keith Cooper, a sister-in-law, Shirley Brozek, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

CHARLES FRANCIS BROZEK
Funeral services for Charles Francis BROZEK of Oakdale will be held Friday, May 8 at 2 p.m. at the Oakdale Methodist Church with the Rev. Connie J BUEHLER officiating. Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery. Mr BROZEK was born September 20, 1893 at Battle Creek and died Monday, May 4, 1970 at the Tilden Community Hospital at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 14 days. Immediate survivors are his wife, Lella, four sons, Elmer of Orange Park, Florida, Donald and Charles Jr of Lincoln and Carl of Omaha, and one daughter, Mrs Keith COOPER of Omaha. His body will lie in State Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Hoepfinger Home for Funerals at Neligh.
