ROBERT MATTHEW BEISSEL

Graveside services were held for Robert Matthew Beissel, 65, of Oakdale at the Oakdale Cemetery. Robert Matthew Beissel, son of William Jacob and Laura (Powell) Beissel, was born on October 9, 1933 at Los Angeles, California. He graduated in 1950 from Mark Keppel High School in San Gabriel, California. On April 3, 1950, he married Jackie Lee Gorman. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Mr Beissel died August 19, 1999 at Antelope Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife, a son, Danny, two daughters and their husbands, Kimberly and Arlyn Mork, and Kathleen and Danny Smith; a brother, Frank, two sisters, Mary Richardson and Laura Haynes; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
