Grandma ADMIRE died on Tuesday afternoon, September 24, 1895, after suffering a long illness. The funeral services were held at the house on Wednesday afternoon. Rev. CREWS officiating. She leaves a husband and three married children. (Oakdale Cemetery)
Benjamin Franklin Admire, 1846-1901

Abridged: Benjamin Franklin ADMIRE was born in Kentucky, November 17, 1846. His parents moved to Missouri and Iowa where ADMIRE grew to manhood. He married Nellie STUART on August 18, 1880. They had seven children, three of whom preceded him in death. Mr and Mrs ADMIRE moved to Nebraska in 1880. He died Sunday morning, May 19, 1901, leaving a widow, and four children. The funeral service was preached at the residence by Rev. J. M. LEIDY. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
Harley H. Admire, 1890-1918

Harley H ADMIRE was born in Oakdale, Nebraska, June 19, 1890, and departed this life on August 6, 1918, at Beatrice, Nebraska, aged 28 years, 1 month and 17 days. At the age of 2 years he was stricken with infantile paralysis and had been an invalid ever since. He resided in Oakdale with his parents until six years ago, the remainder of his life being spent in the home at Beatrice. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs Nellie STRINGFELLOW and Mrs Leila Moore of Lynn, MA and Mrs Ethel NICHOLAS of Elgin, NE. The remains were brought to Oakdale Wednesday. Funeral services were held Thursday at the old home, conducted by Rev C. F. STEINER and burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.
Nellie Stuart Admire, 1851-1912

Abridged: Nellie STUART was born September 19, 1851 at Cottage Hill, Iowa and married Benjamin F. ADMIRE there on August 18, 1880 and died at Colorado Springs, Colorado, August 27, 1912. She came to Antelope County in 1880 and Mr ADMIRE set up his law practice. She was a mother of seven children, four still living. Her husband preceded her in death by nearly eleven years. She leaves four children; Mrs A. D. NICHOLAS of Linwood, Nebraska, Nellie M, Leila M and Henry ADMIRE of Oakdale; two sisters, Mrs Charles PLATT of Epworth, Iowa and Mrs Jas. STOCKS of Early, Iowa; two brothers, Alvin STUART of Farley, Iowa and Sumner STUART of North Buena Vista, Iowa. The goodbye services were held at the home in Oakdale, August 30, 1912, conducted by Rev. G. W. SYNDER of the Methodist Church. Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
Infant Twins of B.F. Admire 1889-1889

The twin children of B. F. ADMIRE were both buried last Thursday afternoon. One died Wednesday, April 17, 1889 morning and the other Thursday, April 18, 1889 morning. They were nearly two months old, but had never been real well. They were both laid side by side in one coffin. (Oakdale Cemetery)
