Roy John Frahm was born April 29, 1918 at Atkinson, Nebraska and inducted into the Army on August 18, 1941.  He was a mess sergeant in Company D, 795th Amphibious Tank Battalion.  He served from August 20, 1942 to August 29, 1943 in Iceland and then in the US for more than three years.  He was discharged on October 13, 1945.
