Mary Lloyd Evans

Mary Lloyd Evans was born in Palisade, Colorado in 1918 and entered the Army Nurse Corps in 1942 as a registered nurse. After six months of training, she was sent to the South Pacific and spent two years at the 29th General Hospital in New Caledonia. She was transferred to Japan. She and William Owen Evans were married in 1945 and she was discharged in 1946. She worked as a registered nurse at Antelope Memorial for 16 years and is now retired. |
