Alfred W. Bennett was inducted into the Army on October 23, 1945 and received his honorable discharge on October 12, 1945.  He received his basic training at Scofield Barracks in Hawaii and served with the 102nd Engineer Battalion.  Al saw combat duty in Okinawa, Saipan and Eniwetok.  Al married Betty Crosier and have two sons.  He passed away April 24, 1987.
