Jerome Wilmeth Winn was born February 3, 1923 at Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended school at Neligh, Laurel, Randolph, and graduated from Coleridge in 1940. He enlisted in the Air Corps on October 31, 1942. He was a medic and sailed to Scotland on April 27, 1944 and then to France on September 27, 1945 where was at the 195th General Hospital. He was discharged on January 14, 1946. Jerome married Mildred Ursula Koch on May 27, 1946 at Jackson, Nebraska. She was born October 21, 1915, daughter of Anthony W Koch and Mary Jane McGuirk. Their children were: Mary Helen who married Michael William Hanlon, three children; Anthony Raleigh married Marcia Rae Beckner, three children: Delores Elaine married Jack Lucas Nemceff, three children: Duane George married Donita J Powell.
