JOACHIM
HENRY KARL TIMM was the first Timm ancestor to come to America and
Nebraska. He was born September 18,
1843 at Sanitz, Mecklenburg Schwerin, Germany. He married Johanna Marie ? who was also born in Germany on
August 26, 1841. They had six
children, all born in Germany: Johann
married Caroline Eissler; Sophia married John Haake; Jochim married Matilda
Whitwer; Anna married Richard Born; Fred
married sisters, when one died he married the other, Wilhelmina and Henrietta
?: and Lena. The family came to
America in 1884 and settled in Omaha. Joahanna died there in March of 1901
and Jochaim moved to Antelope County to farm until 1919 when he moved to Norfolk
to make his home with his daughter. He passed away there November 26, 1920.
