John N. and Eliza Miller came to Antelope County in the spring of 1887 and remained until October, 1887 when they moved to Keya Paha County. With them were their two youngest children, William H and Lucy A Miller. Within a year, their fifth son, John Daniel, joined them and they lived in Keya Paha County until the spring of 1890 when they returned to Antelope where they lived the remainder of their lives. John D Miller married Della Henicks in Iowa in 1887 and a daughter, Vava D, was born in 1887. At this time Della died and Vava was raised by her grandparents and aunt until she was 16. At this time John D Miller was Sheriff of Antelope County and she came to live with him in about 1906. William H Miller, the seventh son of John and Eliza, came with his parents to Antelope in 1887. Sylvester Miller came with his parents in 1887. He was John and Eliza’s fifth child. He was married to Caroline ? and his children were Clarence and Maude. They remained in the county four years and returned to Iowa. Lucinda A Miller was their eighth child and born in Knox County, Illinois in 1869. She married James R Carr at Neligh at the age of 23. They were parents of one son, Ora Ross Carr.
