Ronald Peter Clemensen was born to R. P. and Lulu Clemensen at their Oakdale farm home on August 7, 1910. Through all his father's life, Ronald was his ever present shadow. He graduated from Oakdale High School in May of 1929. For some months before graduation, Ronald worked in the Wanek drugstore in Neligh. He later went to Denver to take a pharmacy course. Following this, he worked in stores in Denver as a Pharmacist and manger. On July 4, 1936, he married Mary Summers whose home was in Kansas City. She was employed in Denver at the time.
