Donald & Margie MillerDonald Miller was born in 1927 in Nelson, Minn., to Henry S. and Minnie (Olson) Miller. He was in the Navy in 1945, and is a dairy farmer. Margie, daughter of Fredrick and Emma (Machau) Isaak, was born in 1928 in Krem. They have five children: Thomas; Jocelyn (Reiling); Janet (Rutledge); Timothy, and Laurel. The children were active in 4-H and received many awards for their accomplishments. Donald and Margie have been 4-H leaders for 26 years. Margie has been a Sunday school teacher for 35 years and also is active in the church’s Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. At the present time, she is zone president. They are foster parents and have had 27 children in their home. They are members of Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hazen.
