Elmer Isaak Family
Elmer married Velva Zeller on April 26, 1948, together they had four children. He moved his family to The Dalles in 1960. They were later divorced. He met and later married Annabelle Shephard on October 27, 1972. He was a Union Carpenter and worked on many local construction projects including The Dalles, John Day, Bonneville Dams and several bridges in the Columbia Gorge. He worked for Virgil Sharp Concrete Contractor Company for many years before retiring. He was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, remodeling for friends, dancing and sharing stories over a cold beer and family reunions. He especially enjoyed his time with his 11 grandchildren.
