Jacob Erbele & Theresa Laubenstein Erbele

Jacob and Theresa (Laubenstein) Erbele emigrated from the Germany-Russia area and homesteaded in the Krem community.

Jacob served in the Russian Army when he was a young man. His trade was carpentry. He built all the buildings on the farm and also many of the neighbors buildings. In the early years when they lived at Krem area, he built caskets for many of the people of the community.

Jacob and Theresa had nine children. Jacob died in 1938 and Theresa in 1967.
