Dennis
Mullen came to America from Co.
Galway, Ireland, about 1850, one of
three Mullen brothers to reside in
Crawford Co., MO. He
married in NJ to Bridget Radigan and
they had their first child of 11
there. They were in Crawford Co,
MO after 1862 when Dennis went to work
for the railroad. He bought land
from the railroad, about 1875 in
Liberty Township, Leasburg, Crawford
Co., MO and farmed the land. He
and Bridget had 11 children (according
to the 1900 census); 10 lived.
Their descendants are spread across
the United States from end to
end. Dennis was born about 1830
and died March 17, 1900 in Leasburg,
Crawford Co., MO and is buried in
Leasburg in the Catholic Cemetery; the
old Fitzgerald, now called Sacred
Heart.
