Volna Halbert Family

Here's a photo from about the late 1890's of my great grandparents Volna Pearce Halbert and Francis (Coleman) Halbert with their children:  Austin, Mert, Cindy, Nellie on her mother's lap (my grandmother) and one more girl whose name is unknown.  They lived in Cherry Valley.  Francis dies in 1902.  Volna died in 1944.  Father and mother are buried next to each other in a small cemetery near the fish hatchery off Highway BB.  Their tombstones appear to be homemade.  I'm not sure of the cemetery's name, but there are other Colemans and Halberts buried at the site.  I'm sure they are all related.

This is a photo of Volna Pearce Halbert, 1856 - 1944, (my great grandfather) on the left and Hugh Everson McGinnis (my grandfather), 1892 - 1955, on the right in about the 1920's.  Volna lived in Cherry Valley.  Hugh lived in Phelps, Crawford and St. Louis counties, MO.
