Bessie Rideout Photo 1860s-1870s

 From: Shelley Cardiel   gmail.com@groups.io

I have an old studio photograph of Bessie RIDEOUT which was taken at the Hinds Studio in Portland, ME in the 1860's or 1870's with Bessie appearing to
be about 3 years old at the time it was taken. A note also indicates the photograph was taken from the DRINKWATER Book which I'm thinking was likely
referring to a photograph album. The name "Amanda" is also written on the back of the photograph. I believe that this is a photograph of Bessie
DRINKWATER RIDEOUT and based on limited research was able to gather the following information regarding Bessie and her family:

Bessie May DRINKWATER was b. 11 Apr 1870 in Brooklyn, NY to parents Edwin Taylor DRINKWATER (1832-1896) and Sarah Emeline DURAN
(1837-1894).  Bessie had two siblings Baby Boy DRINKWATER (b. and died 1866) and Alice DRINKWATER (b. and died 1866).  Bessie married Oscar
Louville RIDEOUT (1865-1931) on 7 Mar 1896 in Cumberland County, ME and they had a daughter, Florence H. RIDEOUT PETERS (1896-1932).  Bessie
died in 1965 in Cumberland Center, ME and is buried in the Moss Side Cemetery in that same town.

I’d like to get this photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or you know someone who might be.

 Thanks,

 Shelley
