Received for record seventeenth August One thousand nine hundred and one at two p.m. same day recorded in Liber JHO no. 74, folio 186 &c one of Howard County land records and examined per J. H. Owings, clerk, $1.00 pd.
This deed made this fifteenth day of August in the year Nineteen hundred and one by Daniel Hartsock and Barbara Hartsock his wife of Howard county in the state of Maryland, witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two thousand dollars the said Daniel Hartsock and Barbara R. Hartsock do grant and sell unto Archie C. Hartsock and Cora V. Hartsock his wife, all their right to the and interest in and to all that tract of land in Howard County Maryland which was purchased by the said Daniel Hartsock from Aeschylus Winchester, Elijah Winchester and Jane Winchester his wife by deed dated the seventh day of September 1881 and recorded in Liber L.J. W. # 44 folio 226 &c one of the land records of Howard county Maryland. To have and to hold unto the said Archie Hartsock and Cora Hartsock his wife their heirs and assigns forever in witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals.
