Deed from Aeschylus Winchester, Elijah Winchester & Jane Winchester; to Daniel Hartsock. Received for record 16 December 1881; same day recorded in Liber L.J.W. 44 folio 226&c one of Howard County land records, and examined per L.J. Watkins, Clerk $1.25 pd.

This deed made the seventh day of September in the year Eighteen hundred and eighty one by Aeschylus Winchester of Howard County state of Maryland and Elijah Winchester and Jane Winchester his wife of Carroll county state of Maryland. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of fourteen hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the said Aeschylus Winchester, Elijah Winchester and Jane Winchester do grant and sell unto Daniel Hartsock of Frederick county state of Maryland his heirs and assigns in fee simple all their right and title interest and claim both at law and in equity in and to all that parcel of land lying and being in Howard county Maryland being part of a tract of land called �Ridgley Great Park� and part of a tract called �Snowdens Range� containing one hundred and six and one half acres more or less being all that tract of land conveyed to Aeschylus Winchester and Elijah Winchester by Samuel B. Martin by deed dated on the second day of May in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy three and recorded in Liber W.W.W. no. 32 folio 427 one of the land records of Howard county Maryland on May sixteenth, one thousand eight hundred and seventy three (for metes and bounds reference is had to said deed) and the said Aeschylus Winchester, Elijah Winchester and Jane Winchester do hereby covenant that they will fully warrant the said lands hereby conveyed to the said Daniel Hartsock his heirs and assigns forever in witness whereof we have set our hands and seals.
