John Brady's last Will and Testament
"know all Men by these presents that I John Brady a private in the U.S.
Army now in Garrison at Fort McHenry being sick but in perfect mind, memory
& knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do hereby will and
devise to Elizabeth Lyon daughter of John Lyon deceased all the property I die
possessed of ? of money in Coll. Armstead's hands pay due me at my Death or Land
due me by the U.S. all my Lawful debts being first paid.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this 6th day of March
one thousand eight hundred Sixteen.
