Trying to get more information about Priscilla KIMBERLY, born ca 1826 in Maryland to Catherine CONN and Jacob KIMBERLY. She married David PAXTON about 1848 and they had seven children - Sandyfield, Martha, Delona, Maria, Jenuetta (sp?, Elvira, and Delia. She may have passed away in 1864 when the last child was born because David remarried in 1865. However, I can find no birth, marriage or death records for her. My ancestor is Delona and she is listed as his mother and she is listed on the census as the wife of David and mother of Delona. Any information about what happened to her or any other information about the Kimberly family would be greatly appreciated.

My great grandmother, Matilda Elkanah ROSS BARRY, was the daughter of Mary Ann TIGHE and Elkanah Grafton ROSS. Her parents were never married. QRYTEXT: I have recently been compiling my family history from a number of resources, but seem to have run into a dead end on my mother's mother's side of the family. Joseph Fonner was born in MD somewhere (i think in AC, which is why I am writing) on December 24th. He was married to Sarah Deemer, who died in probably VERY early 1848 or sometime shortly after the birth of their last child in 1847. He was then remarried to a Susan Cross (b. 1829) in April of 1848 of Trough Creek, MD. I can't seem to find a city names Trough Creek, but I am pretty sure that the creek ends up in Allegany County. So I am writing to ask for your help in locating Joseph Fonner and any information you might have on his first marriage and/or parents. I have had some difficulty in finding census data from before 1850, by which point Joseph had moved to PA. I don't know even know if I am looking in the right place, but would sincerely appreciate any help you can give. Thank you for your time!
