birth of Marie Catherine DELLBRUCK, Nov 1847 to Fred William DELLBRUCK and wife
Sophia Cath. LAMBERT. I think this is the same couple. There was also a Wilhelm
DELBROCK married to Catherine DECK, 1861, from St. Lukes. Other Delbrook's
appear in 1900 census, Mt. Savage.; and in Somerset Co., PA across the border.
If anyone has 1860/70 census - could you look to see if these surnames appear?

We have identified three CREUTZBURG families living in Barton, Allegany
County, MD. All three emmigrated from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Germany in the early
1850's, and were among the original settlers of Barton.
Valentine CREUTZBURG
married Martha MEERBACH in Germany. Their first son Ernest Z. was born there.
Their daughters Caroline, Johanna and Emma were born in Barton. Ernest and
Caroline never married. Johanna married James P. SHAW (1883) and Emma married
Conrad LUTZ (1884).
John CREUTZBURG married Anna Maria SCHRAM before
coming to the United States. Henry, their first son, was eight when they came to
Barton in 1853. Henry married Matilda COOPER in 1869. Elizabeth (Betsie), John,
and Harmon (Herman) were born in Barton between 1854 & 1859. Betsie married
Thomas GANNON, John married Conrad's sister Maggie LUTZ (this marriage ended in
divorce), and Harmon married Clara BARNES. Betsie and Henry had 11 and 7
children respectively.
Casper CREUTZBURG also married a Martha (surname
unknown). They had one daughter, Elizabeth, who appears to have been born in
Germany. She married Frederick FEEVY.
This research has only begun.
