BLOCHER CEMETERY
(Inventoried and contributed by Buddy Duckworth)

LOCATION: 1 mile south of Long Stretch U.S. Route 40 5 miles west of Frostburg. Turn south on Old Frostburg Road go on the Road till it makes a fork, about 3/4 of a mile and take the right fork (That is the Old Braddock Trail) then proceed about 200 yards and take the right fork again and you are there.

This Cemetery is located in a very large field with a termendous view southward. It is well kept and on top of a hill. This is where 2 sholdiers were killed who were part of Braddock's Army. They were the first casualities of the well famed march. They were ambushed by the Indians.
