This historic museum is housed in a building built in 1885 and offers visitors a glimpse of Webster County's historic past. It is located at 500 South Broadway in Providence, Kentucky.

Displays of local history have been contributed by local residents to create this new museum. Enjoy the collection of historic photography, memorabilia, written and oral history.

Visiting the museum:

Room 1 - African-American history; photos, clothing, tools, etc.

Room 2 - Providence history; books, maps, desks, etc.

Room 3 - Webster County history; books, towns, schools, etc.

Room 4 - Coal Mining history; mines, locations, people, railroads, etc.

Hallway - Miscellaneous history; Military Memorial Wall; Native American Wall
